Since the introduction of Beats in 2008, headphones have now become more of a fashion statement than ever before.
The popularity of high end headphones has fueled industry growth to $11 billion annually, with sales projected to rise to $18 billion by 2020. Last year manufacturers shipped 336 million headphone units to sales outlets, with prices ranging anywhere from $15 to $4,000.
