Politics: When Reality Answers Tweating

Going through my Twitter feed from earlier in the year I came across this gem. It’s a hard lesson about how you can whistle pass the graveyard for only so long.

Last December I was on the receiving end of this tweet after telling the press that lawmakers would need to do more than cut the budget, and new revenue was critical. Then House Majority Leader Rep. Charisse Millet took exception.

A year later and Rep. Millet barely won reelection and has gone from majority leader to  member of the Labor & Commerce Committee.

To quote the great Edina from Ab Fab, “The bottom line never lies sweetie darling.”
